Wanda Mae Hedrick

Wanda Mae Hedrick, 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.  She was married to Jack C. Hedrick in 1949.  They were united until his death in 2003.  Wanda is preceded in death by her husband Jack Hedrick and her grandson Kris Edwards.  Wanda is survived by her children, Randy Hedrick, Silvia Polderman, and Danny Hedrick. She is  also survived by her grandchildren Rotan Edwards, Liane Dierker, Michael Polderman, Will Hedrick and Eric Hedrick.  Born in Ponder, TX, she lived in the Dallas area until moving to Portland, TX, in 1965.  Throughout her life, Wanda touched many people with her positive outlook, unconditional love, and wacky sense of humor.  She served in many capacities at the First Baptist Church and made life-long friends there.  Wanda's main focus was always her family.  Through Sunday dinners, homemade Christmas stockings, and countless other gestures, she made everyone, from immediate to extended family, feel special.  Wanda Hedrick was a great wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and role model who will be greatly missed by everyone.
