Valerie Annette Hernandez, 32, of Kingsville, Texas died on December 5, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born November 19, 1984 in Kingsville, Texas to Raul and Rosie Hernandez. Valerie was a loving and outgoing and full of life daughter, mother, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Raul Munoz Hernandez Sr.
Survivors include her parents, Raul and Rosie Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, sons, Austen Jay Pena and Guadalupe A. Fernandez IV, sister, Delinda R. Campos (Joe), brothers, Raul R. Hernandez III, Roel M. Hernandez (Jessica), maternal grandparents, Oberlin E. Riojas Sr., and Maria DeLaLuz Uvalle Riojas, paternal grandmother, Angelita M. Hernandez, numerous cousins, friends, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
