Tommy Loyd Nicks

Mr. Tommy Loyd Nicks entered Eternal Rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was born on August 24, 1944 in Snyder, Texas to Clark and Opal Nicks. Mr. Nicks is preceded in death by his Parents; Siblings, Billy, Juanita, Ramona and Freddie.

Left to cherish his everlasting memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Sherry Nicks; Sons, Bryan Nicks (Tracie), Bret Nicks, Brad Nicks (Criselda); Sisters, Gaynell Jarvis, Marjorie Trammel; Grandchildren, Garret, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Katherine; Great Grandson, Milo, Malachai; A nephew he considered as a son, Michael Thompson.

Mr. Nicks was known for his great sense of humor and will forever be remembered as the head of the family. He loved to work in the oilfield industry as a wireline manager for 50 years.

Visitation will be at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Dobie Funeral Home.  Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm at Cenizo Hill Cemtery in Mathis, Texas
