Tomasita Silva

Tomasita Silva, age 76, died October 4, 2018.  She was born September 21, 1942 in San Patricio County, Texas to Basilio and Isabel Salinas.  She was preceded in death by her husband Abel, and siblings Ernest Salinas, Basilio, Jr. , Emma Olivarez and Ida Garcia.   She is survived by three daughters Isabel Gloria of Sandia, Angelita Garcia and Ester Garcia both of Brownfield, Texas, two sons Roy Salinas Garcia, Jr. of Sandia and Gabino Salinas Garcia of Brownfield, three sisters Yolanda Carranza, Isabel Olivo and Rachel Garcia all of Mathis, ten brothers, Ruben Salinas, Isabel Salinas, Jesse Flores, Joe, Daniel, Luis, Donato, Noe, Ismael and Antonio Salinas, 18 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.   Prayer service was held Sunday Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral was at 11 a.m. Oct. 8 at Dobie Funeral Home.  Burial followed in the Sandia Cemetery.
