Terry Puentes

Terry Puentes was born on December 23, 1970 to Yolanda Cuevas and Jesus Padron in Corpus Christi Texas. She grew up in Kanas with Yolanda and Francisco Hernandez along with her siblings. She had 4 daughters and 1 son.  She also gained custody of her granddaughter and was happily raising her.

On July 8,2023 Terry passed unexpectedly in Webster TX of a brain aneurysm. She was 52 years old. Terry is survived by her parents Yolanda and Francisco Hernandez; Her children, Crystal married to Jaysen Farley, Joshua Perez married to Danielle, Ashely married to Martin Asebedo, Cassondra Sandoval and Vanessa Perez; her grandchildren Jaysen, Jessie, Yolanda, Arabella, Zayden, Lucas, Penelope, Eric, Marriah-lynn, Khloe, Justyne, Brailyn, Lane, Maxton, Malinda, Emmalie, Terriah; and siblings Angie, Frankie, Leslie, Roel, Jeanette, Jessie, Tommy, Timothy, Renee, Justin, Raquel, Rosalinda and Roelia; She is preceded in death by her grandma Maria Elena Flores, her tia Irma Flores, her grandma Concepcion Padron, her sister Rosanna and her father Jesus V. Padron.

Terry loved people. Loved her children. Loved her grandchildren. Loved her parents. Loved her Tia's and Tio's. Loved her siblings. Loved her primos and primas. Loved her friends.

Terry truly never stopped talking about her work. Working for CEMEX was a true highlight of her day. She felt appreciated daily from her coworkers and customers. Terry walked this earth with a true smile on her face. It was hard for her to have a bad day. Terry was a great mother, but what she excelled at was being a grandmother. The love she had for her grandkids was indescribable. There are no words that could fully describe how much she loved her grandkids and how much they loved her back.

Viewing will be held from 1:00 pm-7:00 pm and Rosary will start at 7:00pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Dobie Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Jaysen Farley, Jaysen Farley II, Joshua Perez, Lane Williams, Maxton Roths, Jessie Padron Jr., Justin Padron, Frankie Hernandez.
