Stanley C. Stringham

Stanley Clayton Stringham resident of Portland, Texas of 51 years died Tuesday morning, the 23rd of November in San Antonio, TX.

Stanley is survived by his two sons, Dale Clayton and David Louis; his daughter Robin Teresa Squaglia, and his brother Lesly Stringham.
Stanley is preceded in death by his parents Alva Clayton Stringham and Alpha Beatrice Cameron; his wife Mary Elizabeth DeLeon; son Daniel Lorne; and his brother Ray Stringham all from Port Lavaca, Texas.
Stanely was born in Port Lavaca, Texas September 16, 1930. He attended Calhoun High but joined the Navy in 1947 before graduating high school and married Mary (Chobie) in 1950. Stanley retired from the Navy as Lt.Cmdr. in 1976. He went to the University of Texas in Corpus Christi and graduated in 1979. Stanley became a home builder in Corpus Christi, Portland, and Victoria, Texas from 1980 to 1991 when he retired.
