Sherry Faye Chasten

Sherry Faye Chasten passed away on November 21, 2024 at the age of 61. She was born on February 28, 1963 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Robert Harold and Betty Jane Cagle Sr. Sherry was a radiant soul known for her kindness and welcoming spirit, always making others feel at ease.

Throughout life, Sherry found joy in many pursuits. She was an excellent cook, delighting family and friends with her culinary creations. Creative by nature, she enjoyed painting portraits and expressed herself through music, often playing her guitar and singing in joyous harmony. Sherry was also an active member of her church community, where she found both solace and companionship.

Her family, who held a special place in her heart, includes her beloved partner of ten years, Travis Shassner; her son, Michael Lindsay Stiles, and her cherished grandchildren, Molly and Lindsay Stiles. Sherry shared a close bond with her sister, Elaine (Deborah) Cagle, who will continue to carry her memory forward. 

Sherry is preceded in death by her Parents and Brother, Roy Lee Cagle whose legacies shaped her warm and compassionate nature.

Sherry’s legacy of love and creativity will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a testament to a life filled with kindness, art, and cherished relationships.
