Senaida DeLeon, born on March 28, 1975, passed away on August 23, 2026.

Senaida will be remembered as a devoted mother and homemaker who gave her heart fully to her family and to the home she lovingly cared for each day. She found joy in the simple and meaningful things that made life beautiful. She loved collecting cardinals, and she especially loved taking care of her home and her boys. Those who knew her will remember the warmth she brought to her family through her steady love, care, and presence.

One of the proudest moments of Senaida’s life was marrying the love of her life, Rene Rodriguez Sr., in 1995. Their marriage was a cherished part of her life, and the bond they shared remained close and meaningful through the years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rene Rodriguez; her sons, Rene “RJ” Rodriguez and Rolando “Rollie” Rodriguez Jr.; her brothers, Marcus DeLeon of Corpus Christi, Juan DeLeon (Diana) of Corpus Christi, Abel DeLeon (Tina) of Orange Grove, and her sisters, Guadalupe DeLeon of San Antonio; Rosa Linda Jarrell (Jimmy) of Corpus Christi, and Eloisa Ortiz (Canuto). She also leaves behind the many loved ones whose lives were brightened by her kindness, care, and deep devotion to family.

Senaida was preceded in death by her father, Andres DeLeon Sr.; her mother, Macaria DeLeon; her brothers, Oscar DeLeon, Manuel Jesus DeLeon Sr., and Andres DeLeon Jr.; and her sister, Viola DeLeon.

May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her, and may she be remembered always for the love she gave so freely to her family and home.
