Rose Ann Green

Rose Ann Green, a beloved Nursing Assistant and Seamstress, passed away on May 27, 2024 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was known for her warm and welcoming personality, always caring and loving towards her family and friends. Rose's fond memories will forever live on through her dedication to spending quality time with her loved ones.

Born on March 9, 1949, in Huntington, Indiana to Joseph and Martha Shockome.  Rose brought joy and comfort to those around her throughout her life. She was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a cherished sister to many.

Rose is predeceased by her Parents; her Husband, Floyd Ray Green Sr.; Children, Stephen Allen Green and Melissa Ann Green. 

Left to cherish Rose's everlasting memory are her Son, Floyd Ray Jr. Green-Yandell (Eric); sisters, Sara Sumwalt (William), Barbara Perrigue, Mary Ivy (Bobby), Dorothy Delagrange; Brother, Robert Shockome, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service to honor and remember Rose's life will take place on May 31, 2024, at Sandia Cemetery in Sandia, Texas. The service will commence at 10:00 AM with the support and presence of those who held Rose dear.

Rose Ann Green will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
