Ronald Robert Svihovec

Ronald Robert Svihovec, 81 years old, passed away on March 16, 2019 in a local hospital. 

He was born in Mott, North Dakota on September 3, 1937 to Robert Leo Svihovec and Helen Adelia Coffing. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pam Magness, mother and father, two nephews, Ronnie Ostby and Greg Svihovec; and one brother Jerold Svihovec.

He was raised in Lemmon, S.D. In 1955 he attended National Business College for one year. He joined the Air Force in 1959 for 4 years. He attended the University of South Dakota, was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, graduated in 1965 with a BBA in Business, joined the Treasury Department and retired from the IRS in his mid-fifties. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Galbraith Svihovec, daughter Tawny M. Svihovec, brothersJim Curtis and Gene Svihovec (Joyce), sister Artice Ostby, three nieces and one nephew.  

He had a great love for his Mustang Cars and anyone who joined in. 

Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on March 21 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi TX.
