Rinaldin R. Gonzales

Mr. Rinaldin Gonzales went to be with our Lord on Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born on August 19, 1928 in Beeville, Texas to Domingo and Petra Gonzales.  Mr. Gonzales is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Luisa Gonzales; Son, Rinaldin Gonzales Jr.; Brother, Cruz Gonzales.

Mr. Gonzales, was devoted to the Catholic Church and did what he could to help out. He volunteered much of his time clearing out brush in San Patricio and helping built the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mr. Gonzales was also known for his delicious baked beans. Back in the day he would make up to 300 pounds of beans for the Rattle snake races every year. The community in San Patricio would lovingly call him the "bean man".  He also served 43 years working for Sacred Heart Church in Mathis as Maintenance Keeper.  

Left to cherish his loving memory are his daughters, Maria Sobeydia Gonzales, Maria Dolores Garcia, Maria Luisa Gonzales; Sons, Roel Gonzales of North Carolina, Ramiro Gonzales of Houston, Texas, and Rosendo Gonzales of Houston, Texas. He will also be greatly missed by numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Gonzales will be at 12:00 pm and Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas. Interment will follow at Descano Eterno I.
