Richard Ruiz Jr. passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Mathis, Texas.  He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Richard and Estella Ruiz Sr.  He is preceded in death by his Mother, Estella Cortez Ruiz; Materal Grandfather, Melquiades Cortez; and Paternal Grandfather, Francisco M. Ruiz.

He is survived by his Wife, Gracie Perez Ruiz; 3 Daughters, Alexandra Marie Ruiz, Destiny Marie Ruiz, Cierra Marie Ruiz; One Son, Ricardo Melquiades Ruiz III. He is also survived by his Father, Ricardo Ruiz Sr.; One Sister, Crystal Ruiz; Aunt, Seferina Cortez; Paternal Grandmother, Juliana Cortez; Maternal Grandmother, Olivia Ramos Flores and numerous cousins.
