Renate Falcon

Renate Falcon, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 82. Born on June 29, 1943, in Eschwege, Germany, Renate’s journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

For over two decades, Renate devoted herself to her career at Spohn Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion. After her retirement, she found her greatest joy in becoming a full-time Memaw, a role she embraced with boundless affection and enthusiasm. Her family was her world; she poured her heart into nurturing her children and grandchildren, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

Renate is survived by her loving daughters, Darla (Scott) Sasin and Michelle (Michael) Cisneros. She was an adoring grandmother to Kelsey Niemann, Colton David Bucey, Dalton Gene (Ashleigh) Sasin, and Kinzy (Timothy) Mikeska. The warmth of her heart extended to her great-grandchildren, Halen Cantu, Abigail Sasin, Cooper Mikeska, and Carson Sasin, who knew her as a source of endless love and laughter. Renate’s beloved dog, Brodi, remained by her side, sharing in the simple pleasures of life together.

Renate was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 60 years, David J. Falcon, and her esteemed parents, Wilhelm and Hildegard Bertelmann. She also mourned the loss of her dear brother, Rudy Talbot. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew them, a testament to the strength of family bonds and the love that transcends generations.
