Portland

Randy P. Hernandez, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on May 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and the indelible mark of a joyful spirit. Born on August 6, 1999, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Randy’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and the light a single smile can bring to the world.

A proud graduate of Del Mar College, where he earned his welding degree in 2020, Randy’s passion for welding was matched only by his love for life’s many pursuits. His career path was marked by dedicated work at HEB, JLSpecialty Welders, Universal Welding Services, and ATS Industrial, where he applied his skills with precision and pride. Beyond his craft, Randy was an ardent racing enthusiast, a marksman, a gamer, and an avid driver of his treasured Mustangs—hobbies that mirrored his dynamic and adventurous nature.

Those fortunate enough to know Randy remember him as someone whose smile could light up any room and whose laughter was infectious. He was incredibly outgoing, never knowing a stranger and always ready to lend a hand in any way he could. His genuine spirit and openness forged deep and lasting connections with everyone around him.

Family was central to Randy’s life. He is lovingly survived by his father, Ramon Hernandez; mother, Monica Pena Hernandez; and brothers, Benjamin and Michael Hernandez. They, along with countless friends, carry forward the memories of a man who filled their lives with joy. He also joins in eternal rest his grandmother Dora Pena, grandfather Federico Pena, and grandmother Romana Hernandez, whom he dearly remembered.

Randy’s favorite memories include watching Dallas football games, where his enthusiasm was contagious, and attending birthday parties, moments he cherished as times for sharing happiness and connection.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to all family, friends, and everyone who offered support and kindness during this difficult time, embodying the spirit of community and love that Randy so deeply valued.

Randy P. Hernandez’s life was brief but brilliant—a soul who touched many hearts with his kindness, his smile, and his unwavering willingness to help. Though he has left this world, his spirit endures in the memories and love of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
