Ramon Alaniz Paiz passed away February 21, 2019. He was born September 8, 1944 in Orange Grove, Texas to Rosalio and Christina Alaniz Paiz. He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 Brothers: Martin Paiz, Emilio Paiz, Librado Paiz, Domingo Paiz, Oscar Paiz, and Juanito Paiz; and 1 Sister: Jesusa Paiz. He was survived by his Wife Belia P. Paiz; Daughter Monica (Armando) Mendez; Son Alex P. Paiz; 3 Granddaughters: Ashley C Ramirez, Melinda (Mathew) Kosub, Annalisa C. Mendez, 1 Grandson Gilbert (Annalisa) Mendez all from Mathis, Texas; 2 Sisters: San Juanita Medrano of Alice, Texas, Julia(Hector) Ortiz SR of Orange Grove, Texas; 2 Brothers: Canuto(Lupe) Paiz of Beeville, Texas, Erasmo (Luz) Paiz of Orange Grove, Texas and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Ramon worked and retired as a Motorgrader Operator for HAAS - Anderson Construction. Pallbearers: Alex Paiz, Gilbert Mendez, Armando Mendez, Hector Ortiz, Julian Medrano, and Ricky Rodriguez. Rosary will be held 7 p.m Sunday February 24, 2019 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m Monday February 25, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas. With interment to follow in Union Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
