Ramon Acosta Sr.

Mr. Ramon Acosta Sr. went on to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2021 in Mathis, Texas.  He was born on March 24, 1937 in San Marcos, Texas to Dimas and Bonifacia Acosta.  He is preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Margarita and Juanita Acosta; Brothers, Apolonio "Polo", Atanislao "Tanis", Pedro, Paulino, and Gilberto Acosta.

Left to cherish his loving memory are his Wife, Maria Acosta; Daughters, Cristella Acosta, Irene (Jesse) Rios, Marivel Acosta; Sons, Dimas (Celia) Acosta, Ramon Acosta Jr., and Joe (Melissa) Acosta; 22 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Acosta will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will Ricardo Acosta, Atanislao Acosta, Martin Acosta, Mark Padron, Jeremy Padron, Alex Acosta.

Visitation for Mr. Acosta will be at 2:00 pm and Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on May 5, 2021 at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on May 6, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas.
