Petra G. Bernal passed away January 2, 2019. She was born February 26,1937 in Mathis, Texas to Guillermo and Roberta Garcia Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan Bernal; daughter; Mary Gonzales; sisters, Eva Rios, Elia Diaz and Sylvia Garcia. Brothers; Adam Garcia, Guillermo Garcia Jr. and Roberto Garcia. Mrs. Bernal is survived by 5 daughters; Beatrice Shilvock, Berlinda Lilly, Bonnie Boyle, Benita Spurgin and Becky Bernal. 1 son; Bernardo Bernal. 3 sisters; Estela Nieto, Janie Garibay and Bertha Lopez. 1 brother; Jessie Garcia. 19 grandchildren 42 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. January 7, 2019 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will celebrated 10 a.m. January 8, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow in Cenizo Hill Cemetey.
