Oscar Contreras

Oscar Contreras, age 83, died April 15, 2018.  He was born May 5, 1934 in Laredo, Texas to Herlindo and Josefina Contreras.  He is survived by his wife Isabel Contreras of Mathis, three daughters, Debra (Stanley) Oliver of Corpus Christi, Texas, Linda (Rey) Urquizo of Tynan, Texas and Lisa (Jerry) Contreras/Robles of San Antonio, Texas, two sisters Graciela Aguirre and Alice Chapel both of San Antonio, Texas, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.   Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday April 19 at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church in Mathis with a prayer service at 7 p.m.  Military graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday April 20 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
