Nicolas dedicated several years of his career to serving the city of Victoria, embodying a strong work ethic and commitment to his community. He was known not just for his hard work but for his infectious smile and laughter that could light up the darkest of days. Friends and family will always remember him as a loving and funny jokester who brightened their lives with his warmth and humor.

However, nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his beloved family, especially his cherished son, Dante. His passions also extended to cooking, especially barbequing. Nicolas' cooking was a always a delight, often bringing loved ones together around the dinner table.

Nicolas is reunited with his maternal grandparents, Jose and Juanita Briseno; paternal grandparents, Nicolas and Tomasa Rodas; aunts, Connie Benavidez, Gloria Bustos, Carmen Martinez, and Sylvia De La Puente; and uncle, Jose Briseno Sr.

Nicolas leaves his legacy to his beloved wife of five years, Coriandra Rodas; their precious son, Dante Zuniga Rodas; his parents, Jose Nery and Elodia Rodas; siblings, Jeanette Rodas and Adrain Nery Rodas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who held him dear to their hearts.
