Monica was a devoted daughter to her mother, Noelia Soto Huelster, and father Raymond Mirelez, a loving mother to her children, Bryce Rogers and Jeslyn Rogers, and a proud grandmother to her cherished grandson, Armani Rogers, who brought unmatched joy and light into her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel Contreras, her brother, DJ Mirelez, and her grandparents, Mariela Avelar Mireles and Ramon Mireles Sr, Aurora Acuna Soto and Alberto G Soto.

Those who knew Monica will forever remember her boundless generosity and radiant spirit. She lived a life defined by compassion—always the first to offer help, comfort, or a warm embrace. Her presence made people feel seen, loved, and understood. Her love was pure. Her laugh was beautiful. And her heart was gold.

Her children were her greatest purpose. Monica poured every part of herself into raising them, guiding them, and celebrating each milestone with fierce pride. Becoming a grandmother brought her even deeper joy—Armani was truly the light of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with him.

Monica's smile could brighten the darkest day, and her laughter—full, warm, and unmistakably hers—will echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Services will be held on December 18, 2025 at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home, 2303 East General Cavazos.

Family receiving friends will begin at 11:00 AM.

The memorial service will take place from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM, with burial services to follow at 3:00 PM.
