Mildred Irene Mock

Mildred Irene Cannon-Mock, born September 28, 1928 went to be with the Lord January 13, 2018 peacefully and surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Edd Mock. Mildred loved to travel, play and listen to music, collect antiques, and spend time with family. She is survived by her four children, Sharon Marie Mock-Meredith (Jim), Marsha Irene Mock, Dale Edd Mock Jr., (Lisa), Trisha Dee-Ann Mock, and many grandchildren.

“When I come to the end of the day and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, not with your head bowed low. Remember the love we once shared miss me but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take, each must go alone. It’s all part of the maker’s plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the family we know. Bury your sorrows in doing good deeds miss me, but let me go."
