Michele Eunice Andrade

Michele Schwitters Andrade, 79, of Portland, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2023.  She was born to William and Opal Schwitters on September 25, 1943 in Antioch, California. She graduated from Liberty High School in Brentwood, California in 1961.  On March 4, 1961 she married her high school sweetheart, Stanley Andrade.  They were married for 57 years.  Michele was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a Brownie troop leader, a school volunteer for several years and a devoted grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers, her husband, Stanley, three infant sons, Jeffery, Michael and Louis. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Darren) Chapman, two grandchildren Eric (Stephanie) Clarkson and Ashley (Jody) Henson and three great-grandchildren, Ella Clarkson, and Mickey and Marley Henson. 

Private services for the family will be held at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi, Texas.
