Michael Rowland

Michael Wayne Rowland peacefully passed away June 20, 2021. He was 66 years old. Mike was born on March 2, 1955 to Allen and Mickey Rowland. He was a graduate of Gregory-Portland.

Mike is preceded in death by his mother Mickey Rowland; father Allen Rowland; daughter Jacklyn Swift Rowland; brothers Barry Rowland and Steven Rowland.

Mike is survived his son Michael Rowland (Raquel); son Rodney Rowland (Malorie); 5 grandchildren, Steven, Jacob, Jayden, Alex, and Anna Belle; several nieces and nephews; sister Donna Meng (Greg); brother Scott Rowland (Vicky), brother Mark Rowland (Mary Ann).

Mike was a long time business owner of Equipment Maintenance and Southland Fab. Mike was very committed to his family and community. His employees were always thought of as his family. Along with his brothers and father, the Rowland family held multiple businesses in Ingleside and Portland and helped develop many construction facilities locally.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 24, 2021 with a rosary that evening at 7:00 PM at Limbaugh Funeral Home. Funeral service to be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 25 at Limbaugh Funeral Home.
