Masedonio Longoria, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 13, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 64. Born on June 11, 1961, in Mathis, Texas, Masedonio dedicated an admirable portion of his life to serving in the National Guard for eight years and in the United States Army for two years. Following his military service, he transitioned into a career as a truck driver, contributing not only to his family's livelihood but also to the vibrant fabric of his community.
Masedonio was known for his jovial spirit; he loved to make others laugh with his playful sense of humor. He was a true jokester, often creating moments of joy and laughter wherever he went. His passion for barbequing and hosting fish fries brought family and friends together, providing countless cherished memories over shared meals. Masedonio’s generous nature was exemplified by his willingness to lend a hand to his neighbors, particularly by mowing everyone's lawns, especially his beloved mother Herminia's.
In addition to his military service and community involvement, Masedonio had a deep love for fishing and motorcycles, pursuits that brought him great joy and satisfaction. These interests reflected his adventurous spirit and desire to enjoy life's simple pleasures.
