Mary Lou Geeo

Mary Hanna Geeo passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimers. Mary was born May 26, 1931 in Grapevine, TX to Tom & Melissie Hanna. She was a wonderful stay at home mother and wife for most of her life. In the nineties, she owned a store in Portland, TX called “The Wishing Well”. The store brought her great joy because she enjoyed making new lifelong friends. She was truly adored as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother for being a loving, selfless and strong woman. She was the “Rock” of her family.

Preceding Mary in death was her husband of fifty-seven years, Roy Geeo and her youngest daughter, Pamela Geeo Hill.

Mary is survived by her two children, Ron (Rosie) Geeo of Santa Fe, TX and Debbie (Don) McAtee of Corpus Christi, TX. She was Meme to 7 grandchildren, Jason (Dawna) Geeo, Carrie (Doug) Hill Johnson, Nicole Geeo, Jennifer (JD) Green, Randy (Falon) Hill,  Jessica Hill, and Jacob Geeo, as well as 10 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Bailey, Madeline, Jax, Daphne, Paeton, Mikenna, Beau, and Kara. Her special companion & caregiver Rosie (T.J. Cooper).

Many thanks for the compassionate care she received at the Holmgreen/Trinity Towers facility.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association under Team Meme Lou.

Funeral services will be held at the Limbaugh Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10:00 am in Portland, TX followed by a private family graveside service.
