Maria Gloria Soto

Maria Gloria Soto, 85, passed away on 9/10/2022 surrounded by her family in her home in Ingleside.

Maria Gloria was born August 17, 1937 in Portland to Santiago and Guadalupe Garcia. Maria Gloria was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. She also loved to support her G-P Wildcats. Spending time with her family was her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and 8 sisters. She is survived by 1 sister Maria Irma Serna; 8 daughters and 2 sons, Christina (Pablo) Gomez, Elma (John) Felan, Lino (Rita) Cruz, Veronica Garcia (Gary Pitts), Cynthia Benavidez, Judy (Brandon) Muse, Irene (Luis) Pena, Chriscella (Billy) Mullins, Christopher (Christina) Soto, Erika Cruz; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Portland, Texas.
