Margarito Cruz Guerrero

Margarito Cruz Guerrero, 94, was born on February 23,1922 and passed away peacefully at his home in Gregory, Texas on December 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Agapito Guerrero and Paula Cruz Guerrero of Gregory, Texas; brothers Agapito Guerrero of Elk City, Oklahoma, Jesse Guerrero of Taft, Texas, sister Leonor Ozuna of Pasadena Texas and daughter Leonor Martinez of Gregory, Texas. Margarito is survived by his wife of 74 years Alejandra Sabedra Guerrero; son David Guerrero: daughter Paula (David) Sanchez; daughter Anna (Adan) Rodriguez; daughter Guadalupe Flores; son Ernesto Guerrero; son Jesse (Sally) Guerrero; daughter Lydia (Hector) Munoz; son Agapito Guerrero and son Samuel Guerrero;.  He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his love of the sea where he spent his entire life oystering the reefs of the Gulf Coast Bays. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 9:00 pm, Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory, Texas. Burial to follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
