Margaret Ann Craft

Margaret Ann Craft, 85, passed away peacefully in Corpus Christi, TX, on March 22, 2024. She was born on September 14, 1938 in New Orleans to Cecilia Fuller. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Craft and her son, David Wayne Ramos.

She was raised in Port Arthur, TX & later became an L.V.N., her passion for over 25 years. On November 14, 1980, she married the love of her life, Jerry Craft, and they lived in the Northwest before returning home to Van Vleck, TX. After Jerry passed, Margaret moved from Van Vleck to Portland to be closer to family.

 Margaret was a devout Catholic, active in her church as a member of the Guadalupana Society. Her hobbies included gardening & baking for family and dear friends. She was also an avid movie-buff, with John Wayne being her favorite movie star & Willie Nelson her most favorite musician.

 She will be remembered as a simple country woman with a sincere smile & great sense of humor who loved sharing stories with her grandchildren, enjoying her beloved pets & working in her yard. She was a very loving, kind & generous person who will be deeply missed by all.

 She is survived by her children, Cathy White and Eddie Ramos(Gayle), her brother, Jerry Rich(Rose), her cherished grandchildren Richard, Matt, Noelle, Jennifer, Jonathan(Shania), Alison and Kristen(Walter), great grandchildren Logan, Kelsey, Chance, Hunter, McKenzie, Anais, Solara, Harrison and Lily, and great-great grandsons Rayden & Piper. Also, many dear nieces and nephews and extended family Doug Spears, Ella Jewel Wilson & Bobbye Kelloge.

 Margaret will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX.
