Manuela Solis

Manuela Solis, 84, passed away December 20, 2012. She was born September 22, 1928 in Gregory, Texas to Juan and Severa De La Luz Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jose G. Solis, Sr; her parents; son Antonio Garcia Solis; and 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her daughters Frances (Cruz) Hernandez of Gregory, Texas, Anita (Humberto) Garcia of Wichita, Kansas, Elida (David) Silvas of Gregory, Texas; sons Jose G. Solis Jr. (Maria) of Waco, Texas, Luis (Irene) Solis of Portland, Texas, Juan (Rachel) Solis of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Ignacio Solis of Gregory, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Society of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory, Texas.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory with burial to follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
