Lupe Alaniz Puentes

Mrs. Lupe Alaniz Puentes was called home to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021.  Mrs. Puentes was born on April 23, 1951 in Mathis, Texas to Francisco and Tomasa Alaniz. 

Left to cherish Mrs. Puentes' loving memory are her Daughters, Rachel (Michael Williamson) Showalter, Becky Puentes, Jennifer (Robert) Resendez, Michelle (Paul) Garcia, Lupe (Jeremy) Garcia, Sandra (Jonathon) Lopez, Josefine (Jose) Mendoza; Son, Benjamin (Angelica) Alaniz; Sisters, Juanita Huerta, Modesta Crichton, Melba Henson; Brothers, Jose Alaniz, Juan Alaniz, Samuel Alaniz; 25 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Robert Resendez, Jonathon Lopez, Gabe Carrillo, Adam Lopez, Jose Mendoza, Jeremy Garcia, Dominick Martinez, Armando Mendez. Honorary Pallbearer will be A.J. Garcia.

Visitation will be at 4 P.M. and Rosary will be at 7 P.M. on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas, followed by interment to Descanso Eterno II
