Luis S. Lara

Luis S. Lara went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday April 6, 2023. He was born on December 13, 1953 in Mathis, Texas to Tranquelino and Genoveva Lara. Mr. Lara is preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Teresa Lara, Consuelo Lara; Brother, Mariano Lara.

Left to cherish Mr. Lara's loving memory are: his Wife, Juanita  Lara, ,Daughter, Betty Lara; Sons, Luis (Cynthia) Lara Jr., Michael (Lorrie Lara); Five Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Esperanza Cuevas, Rosalinda Lara, Janie Lara; Brothers, Deacon Antonio Lara, Tranquelino Lara Jr., Jessie Lara, Augustine Lara, Joe Lara, Juan Lara, Geraldo Lara; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Lara will be at 11:00 am and Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Dobie Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church followed by interment at Descanso Eterno II.
