Luis Eduardo Cantu Jr.

Luis Eduardo Cantù Jr., 58, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on February 12, 2024. He was born on May 23, 1965 in Kingsville, Texas to Mr. Luis Eduardo Cantù Sr. and Mrs. Emma Mata Cantù. Edward worked for Marriott concession in Kingsville Tx., as a supervisor for A&I University and later was transferred to Texas University "UT"  for 19 years. Due to health issues he had to return home and later started working for Mc Donalds as a supervisor for 10 years until his retirement.  He loved to work in food management. He was a loving son, brother, cousin, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Hilario (Francisca) Cantù, maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Encarnacion (Santos) Mata Sr., and 4 aunts, 3 uncles on the paternal side and 2 uncles on the maternal side.

He is survived by his parents Mr. Luis Eduardo Cantù Sr. and Mrs. Emma Mata Cantù, sister Sandra Cantù, also by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on February 17, 2024 at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with a prayer service at 1:30 pm that same afternoon. Interment to follow at Santa Gertrude's Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
