Luis A. Aguirre

Luis A. Aguirre passed away in Mathis, Texas on Saturday, August 1, 2020. He was born on June 21, 1933 in Catarina (Dimmit County) Texas to Luis and Claudia Aguirre.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Jose and Ramon Aguirre, and Lusiano Soliz; and his four sisters, Manuela Gonzalez, Maria Gutierrez, Frances Perez, and Amelia Castaneda.

Mr. Aguirre is survived by his wife, Teresa De Luna; his Daughter, Alice Zamora; Six Grandchildren, Rene Zamora, Mark Zamora, Michael, Alyssa, Marissa and Klarissa Alonzo and One Great-grandchild, Adlyana Martinez.

Pall bearers are Rene Zamora, Mark Zamora, Michael Alonzo, Joe Castaneda, George Perez, and Dartagnan Gutierrez

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 3:00 pm with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral Mass will be August 7, 2020 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas.

Face Coverings must be worn per Governor Abbott.
