Loretta Ann Lucio

Loretta Ann Chavez-Lucio, age 48, our beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Monday May 9th, 2016, in Portland, Texas.  Lorrie was born on February 11, 1968 in Fairfield, California to John and Tina Chavez.

Lorrie graduated from Gregory-Portland High School in 1986.  She was part of the proud tradition of the G-P Wildcat Marching Band where she made life-long friendships.  Lorrie was a soccer coach for her daughter Sabrina's soccer teams for six years and was also an active band booster member from 2003- 2010 for daughters Kasey and Sabrina's time in high school. Lorrie will always be remembered for her contagious laugh & smile and her love of family.

Lorrie is met in Heaven by her dad, John Chavez.  She is survived by her husband Raul Lucio; mother Tina Chavez; brother Christopher Chavez; two daughters, Kasey Chavez (Joseph) and Sabrina Schultz (Noel); grandson Christopher Schultz; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will start at 3 pm with the Rosary to be recited at 7 pm Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Limbaugh Funeral Home in Portland, Texas.  The funeral mass will be on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Portland, Texas.
