Lois Baldwin

Lois (Lowrie) Baldwin passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 12, 2020 at the age of 85. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Lowrie, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband Bill of 66 years, their children Les (Kristen) Baldwin, Wes (Penny) Baldwin, Debra (Danny) Dunn, Mark (Lori) Baldwin, and her first daughter Catherine Van Allen, whom she was blessed to be reunited with later in life. She is also survived by her sister Dot Avant, and brothers Bill and Jim Lowrie.

She will be missed terribly by the ones she spoiled most, her grandchildren Joshua Baldwin, Gene (Laura) Baldwin, Michelle (Eric) Wright, Kelly Baldwin, Lynn Langlinais (Shaun) Proctor, Daniel Murrow, Octavia Murrow, Julie (Stormy) Watts, Meagan (Paul) Pustejovsky, 24 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Lois was faithful member of the Lutheran Church and had a special place in her heart for children. She sponsored a number of kids in underprivileged countries for many years, helping them go to school and providing them with the necessities they needed. She was an excellent cook and everyone looked forward to the delicious sweets she’d bake for every birthday and especially her Christmas goodies she made yearly. She was devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Harbor Hospice, especially Angela and Crystal, as well as Ms. Rosie Elizondo, for their love and care for our Mom the last few months of her life.
