Leobardo “Leo” Villarreal Jr., 63, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Leo was born January 6, 1952 in San Ygnacio, Texas.  He was a U. S. Army veteran and proudly worked 36 years at the Corpus Christi Army Depot. His interests varied from cooking, genealogy, World War II history and watching western movies. Aside from spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, he looked forward to riding his Harley and enjoying the comradery of his fellow bike riders. Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Leobardo Villarreal Sr. and Brigida Salinas-Villarreal. Leo is survived by his wife, Laura (de la Pena) Villarreal, daughter, Vanessa (Villarreal) Martinez, son, Leobardo Villarreal III, and grandsons David and Jacob Martinez. Sisters Cleodine Ochoa (Raymond),Graciela Rodriquez (Raymon), Margaret Pena (Robert), and Diana Ortiz (Robert). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 9:00 PM, Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. There will be no visiting hours on Sunday, May 10, 2015 being that it is Mothers Day. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas with full military honors.
