Laura Alberta Hall

Laura Alberta Hall ,age 84, of Mathis, TX passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Alice, Texas.  Laura was born on July 6, 1936 in Crystal City, Texas to the late Raymond and Mary (Ivy) English. She married Willie Irvin Hall of Mathis, Texas, on June 9, 1952 in Mathis, Texas.  Laura was a Homemaker.  She was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Mary English; husband, Willie I. Hall; sister, Florence Day; brothers, Lawrence Stoker and Raymond English; and granddaughter Angelica and Tasha Hall.  

She is survived by her daughters, Laura Gillum of Corpus Christi, Texas; Joycie Bohac of Mathis, Texas; Mary Harden (Larry) of Hondo, Texas; and Lynn (Rynell) Self (Craig) of Orange Grove, Texas; sons, Willie Edward Hall of Mathis, Texas; Joe Hall of Mathis, Texas; sister Dorothy Sparks (Richard) of Victoria, Texas; Brother in Law George Day of Mathis, Texas, 20 Grandchildren, 42 Great-Grandchildren and Seven Great Great-Grandchildren. 

Pallbearers are James Lancaster, William Gillum, Craig Self Jr., Chad Self, Clayton Self, Dustin Harden. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Lynch and Michael Ramsey.

Visitation will be held on September 23, 2020 at 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Dobie Funeral Home. Prayer Services will be September 24, 2020 at 10:00 am at Dobie Funeral Home followed by interment to Cenizo Hill Cemetry in Mathis, Texas.
