Janie A. Tamez

Mrs. Janie A. Tamez entered Eternal Rest on Sunday, February 20, 2024.  She was born on July 12, 1944 in Gregory, Texas to Pablo and Rosalinda (Botello) Arredondo.  Mrs. Tamez is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Quintin Tamez Jr., and Four Sisters.

Left to cherish Mrs. Tamez everlasting memory are her Daughter, Belinda Tamez (Michael Carney); Son, Mark Anthony (Mary) Tamez; Sister, Loudres (Manuel) Flores; Brother, Pablo Arredondo Jr.; Two Grandchildren; numerous Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren.

Visitation will be at 5pm and Rosary at 7pm on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Dobie-Winsteads' Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Sacred Heart Church. Followed by interment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1pm.
