Juan Garcia

Juan Garcia, born on August 13, 1967, in Mathis, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, in his beloved hometown. He was a man known for his fun-loving spirit, infectious happiness, and a sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew him.

Juan had a deep passion for life, which was exemplified in his love for two things: spending time with his family and enjoying sports. He cherished every moment with his loved ones, especially his nieces and nephews, and was often seen at family gatherings, where he delighted everyone with his barbecuing skills. His vibrant personality made him the center of attention, always ready with a joke or a warm smile, making memories that will be treasured by his family forever.

He is survived by his long-time and devoted friend, Mary Reese; his cherished sons, John Paul Garcia, Matthew Garcia, and Joshua Garcia, who will carry forward his legacy of love and laughter. Juan will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Diana Garcia Hinojosa, Dalia Garcia Luna, and Delma Garcia, along with his brothers, Luis Garcia, Miguel Garcia, Raul Garcia, Lupe Garcia and his close-knit family.

Juan is preceded in death by his loving parents, Miguel and Petra Garcia, whose legacy of family values and affection continues in Juan's memory.

A Mass in honor of Juan Garcia will be held on December 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 217 W San Patricio Ave, Mathis, TX 78368. The service will conclude at 11:30 AM, as an opportunity for family and friends to come together, celebrate his life, and share the multitude of cherished memories that he created with them.
