Jose Esteban Zamora

Jose E. Zamora, 79 passed away at his home on May 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Jose was born on August 3, 1937 in McAllen, Texas to Pedro Luis and Maria DeLos Angels Marin Zamora. Jose was a member and usher at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Natalia Lopez Zamora, three brothers David, Hector and Noe Zamora and one sister, Evangelina Zamora Leveck. He is survived by a son, Brian Zamora an a daughter, Joanna Zamora both of Gregory, Texas, a brother, Pedro Luis Zamora Jr. of California, numerous nieces and nephews, his companion, Viola Solis along with his two cats, Precious Shorty and Precious Munchkin. Visitation will start at 10:00 am on Friday May 5, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 2:30 pm. Followed by a funeral mass at 3:00 pm. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm. at the Falfurrias Burial Park in Falfurrias, Texas with full military honors.
