Mr. Jose Manuel Alaniz, 68, went to be with our Lord on Monday, January 3, 2022. He was born on March 5, 1953 in Mathis, Texas to Francisco and Tomasa Alaniz.  Mr. Alaniz is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Elfa Alaniz; Sisters, Lupe Puentes Alaniz, Maria Garza; Brother, Francisco Alaniz Jr.

Left to cherish Mr. Alaniz' loving memory are his Daughters, Melissa (Joe) Rosales, Elisa (Juan) Rincon; Son, Jose Alaniz Jr.; Sisters Juanita Huerta, Modesta Hernandez (Dan) Crichton, Melba (Todd) Henson, Rachel Showalter (Ashley Williamson); Brothers, Juan Alaniz, Samuel (Angie) Alaniz, Ben (Angela) Alaniz; Grandchildren, Briana Rosales, Jose Rosales Jr., Jon Brown, Jacob Brown, Joshua Brown, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will at 2:00 pm and Prayer Service will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Dobie Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Primera Iglesia Bautista followed by interment at Descanso Eterno II Cemetery in Mathis, Texas.
