Mr. Jose L. Gonzalez went to be our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. He was born on January 10, 1966 in Mathis, Texas to Rogelio and Pabla Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his Parents; Grandparents, Bernardo and Virginia Bordayo; Sister, Mary Hernandez. Mr. Gonzalez served 13 years in the National Guard and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Left to cherish Mr. Gonzalez' loving memory are his Brother, Rogelio Gonzalez Jr., Half-sister, Juanita Gonzalez Flores; Step-sister, Lola Navarette; Nieces, Veronica Hernandez, Clarisa Hernandez. He will also be greatly missed by his Special Uncle, Samuel Gutierrez; Special Cousin, Alicia (Joe) Garcia; Special Friends that were like family, Joey Garcia, Joe Benavidez, Frank Benavidez, Joe Tanner Rodriguez; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends. Pallbearers will be Joey Garcia, Joe Benavidez, Frank Benavidez, Joe Tanner Rodriguez, Robert Gonzalez, Rodney Cantu. Visitation for Mr. Gonzalez will be at 11:00 am and Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Rod Carpenter will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Dobie Funeral Home followed by interment at Descanso Enterno II.
