Jose Cardona Alvarado Jr.

Jose Cardona Alvarado, Jr. passed peacefully Friday August 3, 2018 at the age of 76.    Jose was born September 1, 1941 in Mathis, Texas to Jose and Soila Alvarado.   He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Usbaldo, Reynaldo and Rene Alvarado.   Jose is survived by his wife Ana Garcia Alvarado, 2 children Sylvia (Mike) McDonough and Daniel Alvarado, 2 stepsons Joe Anthony Espinoza and David (Angela) Espinoza, 6 siblings Juanita McCrea, Udelia (Paul) McCrea, Baldomero (Maggie) Alvarado, Baldemar (Cris) Alvarado, Eloy (Diana) Alvarado and Yolanda (Greg) Smith, 4 grandchildren, Eric (Andrea) Naranjo, Joseph Alvarado, Jacob (Megan) Alvarado and Kelsey (O'shea) Dumas, 5 step granddaughters, JoAnnah, Stephanie, Samantha, Madison and Emma Espinoza, 6 great grandchildren  Ayden, Matthew, Madison, Madelyn, Zyien and Bailey.   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. August 7 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. August 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Descanso Eterno #2 Cemetery.
