Johnny D Elliott

Johnnie (Johnny) Dean Elliott passed away on November 30, 2021, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on January 13, 1929, in Goldthwaite Texas to Clarence Earl (Bill) and Dora Marie Elliott. Johnnie was known for his love of family, fishing, and hard work. He was a quiet man, but when he did speak there was value in his words. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Marie Elliott, Brothers Billie Elliott, Tommie Elliott, Charles (Charlie) Elliott, sister Iona Hester, and Daughter Shirley (Bob) Mathis,

Johnnie leaves behind a large family who will forever cherish the many wonderful memories made with him. He is survived by his wife Rosa Nell Elliott; daughters Johnnie (Bobby Taylor) Bosworth, Trish (Mike) Pirtle, Sandy (Floyd) Hack; sons Steve (Janet) Elliott, Charlie (Jamie) Elliott, Dean (Becky) Elliott; brother James (Marie) Elliott; 15 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers include Chester (Bubba) Bosworth, Scotty Schubert, Ryan Elliott, Jarrod Schubert, Tyler Fairchild, and Mason Tannehill. Honorary pallbearers: Chris Elliott, Johnny Cagle, Chaz Elliott, Malcolm Elliott.

Visitation will at 10:30 am and Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Dobie Funeral Home followed by internment at Cenizo Hill Cemetery in Mathis, Texas.
