John Jr. began his life-long career in the oil field with Baroid and went on to own his own company, Wildcat Well Logging Service, for over 60 years. John Jr. was well respected in the oil field community. John was an avid reader, loved the old westerns and was an inventor. He held several patents for equipment used in the oil field. His children and grandchildren have many memories of spending time with him on the rigs.

Family was important to John and he loved to take as many family members with him wherever he went, whether it was to Kings Inn for fried shrimp and oysters or driving his motorhome "Gus" across country. His blue eyes and warm smile will be missed.
