John Barbree Jr.

John Edwin Barbree Jr passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021. He went peacefully surrounded by family and love.

John was born in Taft, Texas on November 23, 1971 to John and Adrienne Barbree. He attended Ingleside High School. He was a fishing guide in the 90s and currently in construction.

John was an avid fisherman and loved riding motorcycles. He was a very talented artist and loved his heavy metal music. John was a fun guy who loved to make people laugh. He was kind, generous and a great friend to all. He left us too soon and will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his parents John and Adrienne Barbree of Portland, Texas; sister and brother in law, Charlotte and Terry Hill of Edna, Texas; his wife Lauren Bonner of Portland, TX; children Benjamin and wife Ella Barbree of Portland, Joseph Cheaney of Portland, Tabitha Barbree of Rockport, John David Barbree of Portland, Brandon Barbree of Edna, Texas and Brayden Barbree of Portland; Grandchildren Trinity and Kinzie Mouton of Aransas Pass and Heath and Isabella Barbree of Portland.
