Jewell Marildia Hughes

Jewell M. Hughes, 91, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Mathis, Texas. She was born May 9, 1920 in Ben Bolt, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Claude Hughes; her parents Reece and Elizabeth Livergood; brother Boyd Livergood; 3 sisters Margaret Burnip, Mattie Gunderland, and Bycie Ponton. She is survived by her daughter Dovie Lee Klein (Charles); 3 grandchildren Deborah Sheffield (Robert), Claudia Kelle Carradine (John), and Charles (Chip) Klein Jr.; 8 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Palms Memorial Gardens.
