Jeremiah David Billman passed away on October 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 14, 1977, in Aransas Pass, Texas, to parents Johnny and Loni Billman.
Jeremiah was a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that he fought with everything he had until the very end.
Jeremiah was a true fighter. He faced his battle with cancer with strength, courage, and determination. Cancer may have taken him from us, but it will never take away the love, memories, and legacy he leaves behind.
Outside of his battle, Jeremiah found happiness in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, barbecuing, and most importantly, spending time with his family. Whether he was enjoying a day out fishing or firing up the pit, the moments he shared with the people he loved were what mattered most. His family was his heart, and the love he had for them will live on forever.
Jeremiah was a loving husband to his cherished wife, Renee, a partner in life, and a love that will never be forgotten. His love will remain her heart always. He was a proud and loving father to his four children, Steven, Kaylyn, Kaleb, and Korbin, and his daughter-in-law, Basia. The lessons he taught, the memories they shared, and the love he gave them will continue to guide them throughout their lives.
Jeremiah also leaves behind his loving parents, Loni and Johnny, his sister, Julie and brother-in-law, Eli Pena; along with other family members and friends, who will forever cherish his memories.
Although we wish we could have had more time with him, we are grateful for every moment, and every bit of love Jeremiah gave us. We will remember his strength, his fighting spirit, and his love for his family.
Rest peacefully, Jeremiah. You fought a battle no one should ever have to fight, and you fought it with all your heart. You no longer have to hurt, and you can finally rest. Cancer may have taken you from our arms, but it will never take you from our hearts. You will be loved and missed for the rest of our lives.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever Jeremiah Strong!
A Funeral Celebration to honor Jeremiah's life will be held at 1 PM on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Gracepoint Church in Portland, Texas. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Gardens in Taft, Texas.
