Howard Wayne Box
Howard Wayne Box age 56, passed away from an illness on February 17,2017. Howard was born in Sinton, Texas and graduated from Taft High School in 1978. Howard worked at Valero Energy Corporation for 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 37 year, Wanda (Baker) Box, his mother Doris Box, his two brothers Gary Box (Beth); and Michael Box; his two sons, Christopher Box and Brandon Box (Ashleigh), grand daughters Baily and Brianne Box. He was preceded in death by his father Bennie Box. The family appreciates the care given him by the ICU staff and doctors at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Thank you as well to all the friends and family who were supportive through this time. A viewing will be held at Limbaugh Funeral Home in Portland, Texas Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 5:00-7:00. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Portland, Texas, February 23, 2017 at 10:00 am. Graveside will follow the memorial service at Palms Memorial Garden in Portland, Texas. A reception will follow the graveside at the First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alpha 1 research at www.Alpha1.org or a charity of your choice
