Hilda Roush

Hilda Hertha Leona Roush, 89, a resident of Taft, Texas, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in her home in Taft, Texas. She was born February 24, 1935 in Runge, Texas to Otto and Augusta Wunderlich.

She was a dedicated military wife to Launnie A. Roush, who had preceded her in death. She was a wonderful, loving mother, who never seemed to tire of the care she showed her children. She had a wonderful sense of humor that was enjoyed by all who knew her. 

Hilda is survived by her five children, Mark Roush of Pflugerville, TX, Cheryl Schroat of Corpus Christi, TX, Marvin Roush of Venice, FL, Sarah Curry of Cedar Creek, TX, and Douglas Roush of Taft, TX; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with graveside services to follow at 1:30 p.m. at The Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
